kingwilly
Hes a choker. Dont forget his snap in last years playoffs. I made a post in the offseason in a thread about roster spots that we shouldnt keep st louis because he had already proven that hes a choker (i said it more sarcastically obviously), unfortunate. We are keeping a roster spot for a guy who is completely useless at everything besides long snapping, and is a choker at the one thing hes on the roster for. That said it wasnt ALL his fault. Really the entire offense choked. The only offensive skill player worth a damn that I can think of who didnt is TJ. Carson was missing passes all game, we could have had a 3 td lead if he were more accurite today. The INT in the end zone to start the game was pathetic. That said, his final drive was a thing of beauty and it saved me from completely bashing him. Hes still starting to get a reputation for choking though, hes had chances in a few games this year (Bucs, ravens, chargers) to change the outcome with end of the game drives and has failed each time. One other thing, Carson is up to 15 fumbles on the season, compared to 7 total in 04 and 05 combined, i dont know if hes trying to salute jon kitna in some way or what, but it needs to stop. Carsons pocket awareness this year has been horrible.Dont even want to get started on chad, show up for a big game once and a while before you talk anymore (and i love most of his antics). Him and reggie kelly moving cost us a huge td to Henry (carson deserves some blame for rushing the snap when everyone hadnt set yet), who I also think had a drop or 2, though I might be wrong, he didnt play bad, and had a couple of big time catches, and obviously should have had a td.Rudi obviously had that fumble when he went wide eyed on a gaping hole, and another f**k up that no ones really mentioning, on our first drive, the one that started at their 5, Rudi dropped what looked to be a TD on I think first down. The pass appeared to be a bit wide and he may not of scored, but he at least would have made it to the one, and he got his hands on it.Nothing against the defense, they played good enough to win, outside of the 99 yard drive they played great. You cant really knock them for giving up 24 points when the offense kept giving the ball away in bad positions.DPM, that has to be one of your better posts -- Merry X-massCarson looked off. Chad dropped passes and the team beat themselves. This team does not deserve a spot in the playoffs. What a grinchy thing to say but STF can you do, they have the talent to beat the world but cannot put it together.

UK Bengal
geez guys and gals get a life everyone on the team did not play well at all from carsons passing tho that may be due to the altatude but hes proffesional enough to adjust and he didnt till too late. Chad's dropped catches, bad calls, suspect playcalling at times and final the xp snap.Thes are team problems not one mans fault every player has to contribute to make a team strong and sadly in this game it didnt happen so stop ragging on one guy there is still an outside chance that we can make it weather we deserve it or not well we shall see.btw anyone betting that the league is gonna be shook up soon the parity between the AFC and the NFC is widening hence loosing record teams possibly making the playoffs ???? I can see some changes soon so NFC here we come
HairOnFire
Yeah, fire Marvin. Then fire all of the remaining coaches. Then call up Dick LeBeau and tell him we're sorry. Tell him he can be the head coach again. Then tell him how much we miss him dressing up as Superman or Elvis while reading "T'was the night before Christmas. Then call up Coslet to coach the offense. Because I'm pretty sure he's available. Then cut all of the players...except for Chad. 'Cause we love Chad. Then call up Akili. Get P-Dub onboard. Trade for Artrell.Let's go 3-13 again.Because that's what we know best, and I swear...that's the last time I felt safe. And last but not least, Mike Brown, where's my freaking practice bubble? MacD BengalFan
Want to start with somebody how about the entire coaching staff?Oh, yea. Like that will fix the problem. Coaching is not the problem. This team is the best the Bengals have had in since 1990. Does anyone remember what happened up until Marvin Lewis was hired? The reason the Bengals lost against the Broncos was 4 TURNOVERS, 14 points off those turnovers, and ill timed penalities. If it was not for that, the Bengals would have not been in that situation. Doesn't anyone understand that?
