schnarfer
At the beginning of the season I was a bit worried about the power in the afc north. Even with our rediculous loss, we are still right in it. With the steelers not looking spuratic and the Ravens showing no offense at all, we are hanging around with a beat-up team. If we can steal a few games over the next 4 weeks and get everyone healthy, we should peak at the right time. Im glad we are in the afc north! Who Dey!! IF(and it's an IF) we can get at least SOME health back, and we can keep five offensive lineman in one position for awhile, we should rebound. I'd rather start playing my best football at the end of the season than at the beginning anyways.

Who Dey!!I would not say that the AFC North is NOT a powerful division, I think that exactly the opposite is true. However, everyone is going to beat up on each other, which makes an 11 or 12 win season from one team or another unlikely. Add to that that the AFC North faces the NFC South and AFC West 2 of the toughest divisions aside from our own) and you have the makings of a brutal schedule across the board.I also do not agree that the TB game was a gimme. TB will do much the same thing as did the Bears and Vikings last year. Yes we should have won, but on the road, that is a loss that I can live with (not looking at the way we played). We need to get the problems resolved or else we will be looking at 8-8 or 7-9 at the end of the year, instead of 11-5, 10-6 or 9-7. (If it is not the Bengals at 11-5 or 10-6, then 9-7 will win the division and then it is up for grabs to any of the three). We have some advantage because we play the stronger teams with the exception of Denver and NO, in Cincinnati, so hopefully that will help.Lots of football left!
