schweinhart Posted October 17, 2006 Report Share Posted October 17, 2006 I'd say there's a slew of bigger frame centers who'd get looked at over Lucas but he could still get drafted. He'd be looked at like a Josh Beekman as a C/RG type IMO. I've only seen Ma Sun play RG and if that's all teams think he can do, he might have a harder time but no question he's massive -- like Kurt Quarterman of Louisville. I'd say the best of the big guards I've seen this year is Ben Grubbs of Auburn. Doesn't look like he's got the physique to pull off LG and yet every play in space he was there on time clearing defenders out of the way. Plus, he's relentless and any time a guard follows a 30 yard run downfield just to get a crack at pushing the pile, you gotta love it.
