duus Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 The last time I shaved my chin was the morning of September 3. Two weeks into a beard, my wife insists I shave it and I jokingly said I will shave it when the Steelers lose. Well, of course they got beat last Monday but I am yet to shave it. At the same time, we all know the Bengals are yet to lose.So ... to you superstitious nuts out there ... to shave or not to shave? Shave it tonight or tomorrow, or must it remain? Does it matter? Does anyone really care? Just shave it tonight and go on? (is this the most stupid question ever asked of the zone guys?) Quote
BengalsMan3203 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Leave it..... My friend is doing the same.... Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 It depends, how comfortable is your couch? Id listen to my wife and shave it off. in my experience with women(yes, I used it plurally) none have ever been a fan of facial hair. Not one. Lucky for me, I'm a babyface anyways Quote
HairOnFire Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Ben Roethlisberger changes his appearance as often as Imelda Marcos changes her shoes. The sole reason I mention this confusing fact is to remind the dear reader that the girlish Biggest Ben went through his pre-Super Bowl lumberjack phase as a result of a refusal to shave his beard until the task at hand was completed. Duus, I feel compelled to warn you that you are now walking in the footsteps of the worlds biggest drama queen. Quote

BengalByTheBay Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 My answer is yes. . .. . . this is the stupidest question ever.JK -- it doesn't matter whether you shave or not. Quote
BigBenBlows Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I'm superstious too. I always shave my head on Sat. night or Sun. morning before the games. Quote
BlainThePain Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I say grow it and dye it orange. Your gal will love it. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I say just grow out the goat and then when it gets long enough, dye half of it black and the other half orange and then braid that bad boy !!! Layne Staley style !!! But then again, shave it...WHODEY !!! Quote
lando griffin Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I say keep it till Sunday morn. Shave it at like 12 before the game, put on some damn good refreshing aftershave, and get ready for the inevitable and permanent change in Pittsburgh history as the new (and long) era of the Bengals as the class of the AFC North begins. Rejoice that your incarceration in that overly suffocating city is almost over, as the Bengalis bring you to the promised land. Quote
skyline Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Rest easy duus...the fate of the Bengals is actually NOT tied to your beard. It just so happens that it is tied to whether or not I remember to wear my bengals hat on game day.I always wear my jersey, but every time I forget to put on my hat bad things happen (hence the slew of injuries last week) Quote
