agreen_112
Me and a customer of mine, who is in Monroeville, PA., got into a discussion about the upcoming Bengals-Steelers matchup. Here's what he had to say: He said that people around Pittsburgh all think Palmer is crying about everything including his knee and how much he hates the Steelers. That we're making a big deal out of nothing when Cowher said We dey. (He didn't know that "who dey" is our chant). He pretty much said that we're blowing everything out of proportion. Is this how we're being portrayed by the media to all the Pittsburgh fans? He did say though, believe it or not, that we would beat the Steelers b/c they are pretty banged up w/ injuries, including Polamalu's shoulder/arm. And that they have absolutely no running back. He said "I'm just as big of a Steelers fan as you are a Bengals fan, but I really don't think we're going to win". and "The Bengals will have the advantage if it does rain." I don't really care what Steelers fans think of Palmer. The rest of the league loves him. It's like asking a Browns fan about the greatness of John Elway. That is an incredibly small sampling from an incredibly biased person who has every reason not to like him... so who cares? As for him thinking the Steelers will lose? While I agree with him... I think it's a case of a Steelers fan over-reacting to one bad game. Willie Parker is a good RB, despite his bad game @ Jacksonville. They don't have Bettis for short yardage... but that doesn't mean they don't have a running game. It just means they have to get creative in short yardage situations. They aren't as good as they were last year... but they aren't a bad team. We'll see what happens in a couple days... but I'm expecting the unexpected at this point. These rivalry games never go like everyone thinks they will.

So how 'bout I rip his QB's leg off and see if he "overreacts." Forget Palmer crying about his knee, how about Ben crying about his tummy, his 100.0000004 temperature, his thumb, etc.In fact, weren't some members of this board accused of being inhumane monsters when they didn't pay proper deference to Turdburger after he attempted to commit suicide by motorcycle? Talk about overreacting....and double standards.
ArmyBengal
They can think whatever in the hell they want about Carson. There is not one analyst that won't list Carson as an elite QB and one of the top three. You won't find Rottenfurburger anywhere near that kind of comparison (regardless of his SB win)... Dilfer won a SB with Baltimore, does that make him elite ?? Think not... Carson is the man and anyone can respond to that however they wish, but it won't change the fact that it's true...WHODEY !!!
