Hey, I just checked my local CBS stations web site for programming next Sunday. They are going to show "The Mask" at noon here (central time) next Sunday during the Bengals/Steelers game! Of course, then at 3pm they are going to show the Ravens/Browns game. WHAT IDIOTS!!! But I've written to them before and they have told me that the decision comes from the network.

If any of you live outside the Cincy viewing area, you should check your local station to see what they are showing. If they are not showing "one of the most important AFC match-ups this so far this season", the contact the network.

Also, the networks only have a partial say in the games. Most of the parameters come from the NFL.

The site listed also has details on how each city get's it's games. I imagine your town has a home game that will air on Fox at the same time as the Bengals game.

I never really understood why they do that. Same thing happens up here only half the time we get the Detroit Lion games...oh joy!

if I'm not mistaken CBS can change the games it would be retarded not to show the Bengals -Steelers as the primary game sense its top division with it could make or break season (if jax beats stillers it a must win for them almost)

Fox and CBS get double-headers every other week. Fox always shows NFC games, and CBS always shows AFC games. So every other week, we're stuck watching the crappy northern NFC teams like the Bears and Lions.

(unless you get DirecTV... heh heh heh).
