derekshank Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 Before anyone gets too excited,these numbers came against two 2nd string tackles.I do think woth Sam Adams,Peko,Shuan Smith,and Thornton as this years DT's you could see a few more sacks than we are used to ,just not much more than we are used to.Yeah... but even with Turley and Black in there, they are a better offense than Green Bay or Tampa Bay. But you don't hear people making excuses as to why their defenses aren't as good as they looked. The fact is, we dominated a very good running team. A team that voes to run between the tackles... so Justin Smith overpowering Turley doesn't have a lot to do with it. We ended Larry Johnson's 9 game 100 yard streak.
