Look, if it were me in their spot there's not much worse that could've happened. I'm guessing they were holding onto the "Blizburghian" point of view that "he's not mentally ready." (Oh yeah, and Blitz come on back and get your whuppin, come on you were about as wrong as you could be on that call.) By the end of the first quarter, I would've been completely in the tank and probably quietly pissing myself by halftime.

5 SB's means a whole lotta zip right now. What matters is how the Bengals are playing and how the Squeelers are playing. I'd love to kid myself into thinking that they're gonna continue to play the way they have in preseason, but it won't be the case. Pitt will play okay when the bullets start to fly. This will still be a very competitive division. But if bb really wants to try to run the no huddle and act like CP, things are going to get very fun.
