Dadraftnick Posted July 24, 2006 Report Share Posted July 24, 2006 This is what I have been talking about,at a certain point the bad character guys start to seep into the rest of the team like raw sewage seeping into the foundation of your home.Pretty soon everything smells like sh!+.Although,Askew has been a guy that cant make it off the IR(which is something that shows bad character enless he was really hurt),you wouldnt have expected something like this out of him.I think he has seen that Henry acts like this and thought "we can do anything wer'e untouchable"thus, you have the extention of bad character.You dont want to see one guy,lets say Henry,have a party that people are smoking at and cause 5 or 6 guys fail their pot test because, they were in the room when others were smoking.You dont want a few bad apples corrupting the whole team by teamates mimicing their bad behavior or because they want a partner in crime. One thing is sure,the Marvin and the league need to address not only the behavior of recent Bengals but, the rest of the league too.I think that Marvin needs to have a meeting and lay down the law on the first day and cut a few guys to make the point .To quote the Godfather of football"everyone is needed no one is necessary".You cant field a team that has half of the players suspended because of their run ins with the law.This has to be a distraction to the team.You dont want those guys thinking about anything but football.Instead they are answering questions about things like this.
