Patrick and Olberman discussed the issue for maybe two minutes tops and never came close to the promised ripping. In fact, they didn't say anything worth passing along. My guess is everyone of the talking heads at ESPN has gotten a memo that reminds the on-air talent of that days possible talking points. But Patrick, no stranger to the soapbox, couldn't seem to screw up much outrage. Quote

Besides, DP tends to be more subtle in his scorn, so "ripping" is relative. I tuned into his show the day of Chris Henry's most recent arrest, caught the tail-end of his blurb, and couldn't tell that he was talking about a new arrest. Most other on-air "talent" would have driven that point home repeatedly and relentlessly. Quote
