BengalChamps
Please dont accuse me of being chicken little but i thought i saw CP limping. It was a short video of CP walking up the green after nailing a 60ft putt. Maybe it was my imagination but the walk did not seem effortless. I would expect a limp from a guy who has had major knee surgery lately. But should you see a limp from a guy that some think will start the season? After watching it, it left me doubting he can start game 1. I hope i am wrong.
BengalBillyBob
Well what do you expect a guy to do after tearing 3 knee ligaments a few months ago. This injury takes 6-9 months to heal after surgery and rehab. Sure he can get around now and throw a football, but he likely wont be able to run all out and take hits until September/October. Too much sunshine and spin on things right now to know when he'll really be back!
jditty47
good news...carsons a pretty good golfer. did u see that putt?
ArmyBengal
after nailing a 60ft puttD*mn, that's like the best news of the off season !!! Silver lining folks, silver lining !!!WHODEY !!!
CPALMERMVP
I seen palmer on NBC playing golf today and I noticed he was walking around with a noticable limp, How can he play pro football in 2 months if he cant walk around a golf course without a limp? I think he might have had a setback or he is no where near being ready for live action. After seing him today its hard to believe he will be ready by opening day, I think maybe week 5. Spor_tees
Let me be the first to call this one..Steeler Troll!I have never gone to one, but is there ever any Bengal fans that go over to Steeler's message boards to do pathetic posts like this one? derekshank
My guess is if he's walking around with a noticable limp, he wouldn't be playing golf. Move along. The fact that he's playing golf is a good sign.
BengalPappaw
I saw the same video and I attributed the "limp" to his knee brace, which I am sure he is still wearing. As said before, if he is playing golf (or "gold") he must be doing well -- why else would the Bengals let him play.Don't panic -- yet. BengalChamps
ML is so secretive with the injury situations that it had to bother him that CP was limping around on national television. The KC secondary has to be feeling better about game 1. Then again they may have to tackle RUDI all game long!

Why did Carson have to go out and play in this tournament because now everyone will be saying he is not ready and how he will miss the entire season. I just don't see Carson playing in the first few games maybe by game 5 he will be ready. I dont get it, he looked to be doing fine in the OTA videos but now he is limping playing golf? I am starting to believe he has had some kind of setback becuase 1 month ago he was moving better than he was today.

Dadraftnick
I know that golf is not the hardest sport in the world but, I would rather that Palmer NOT be playing golf and take a chance on hurting himself. If he goes down I would rather it be on the field.Golf is also a sport that people often hurt their back and with Carsons injuries still not fully healed it would be better if he sit this off-season of golf out.Especially when you think of the way this off season has been going. He has looked so good in 7 on 7 drills, and his rehab has gone so well, that they are letting him go out and play. If they were concerned about his knee, they wouldn't let him anywhere near a golf course.I didn't see any video, so I don't know what his "limp" looked like... but as another poster mentioned, he was probably wearing a knee brace. The fact that he's playing golf is a good sign, regardless of how he looks when walking the course.
ArmyBengal
Exactly... Do any of you honestly think Carson would be on the golf course if there were still issues that playing golf would complicate ?? More concern that what is needed I'd say...WHODEY !!! I think he might have had a setback or he is no where near being ready for live action. After seing him today its hard to believe he will be ready by opening day, I think maybe week 5.Simple. He's using the Marvin Lewis school of misdirection. Now our opponents think Palmer is limping and anticipate Anthony Wright to quarterback. We'll catch them off-guard. Praise Marvin.I guess that is why it seems like a good sign to me. He has looked so good in 7 on 7 drills, and his rehab has gone so well, that they are letting him go out and play. If they were concerned about his knee, they wouldn't let him anywhere near a golf course. You will also note then that Palmer came out and said he's totally not ready yet. Not sure if that means anything, but a lot in the media provided darker forecasts that were predicted before the mini-camps. I think we'll be fine. Afterall, we have the c-wing of San Quentin on roster. Guys that have Bad Mother ____res on their wallets. Who's going to screw with us? BengalPappaw
BTW, what did he score? He finished with 22 points ( a modified Stapleford scoring system) -- that was about the middle of the pack. He did beat out several "healthy" golfers and Cheech Marin (the real one, not Carson's buddy Chris Henry)What they showed on tv was his sinking of an eagle putt -- which was worth 6 points. Second, Thurman, Rucker, Nicholson, and Brooks will all be a part of this seasons Bengal roster, while Henry will probably be offered up as a sacrifice to appease the locals, the media, and the court system. ArmyBengal
While Henry will probably be offered up as a sacrifice to appease the locals, the media, and the court system.Well, I hope not... Some team, somewhere would give him another chance and he'll go to the pro bowl. When that happens, everyone will be like, how could the Bengals ever let him go ??? It's never ending !!!WHODEY !!!
