  1. 1. How long will it be until Brooks gets himself arrested or fails a drug test?

I think this is a great thread!! If he falls in line with the rest of these jack offs he too will fail drugs tests get arrested and compile a pretty good rap sheet. I'm stunned that Marvin is taking this kind of heat on these boards. But I also agree he has to tighten it up, this is a freaking joke.

Hey, I'm not trying bring down Brooks just after he was drafted(though it did sound like it). I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, we've all had our troubles and tribulations in the past, and maybe his are in the past (and I hope he turns out to be a kick ass LB). But, after ML said he was looking for character guys and the Bengals started drafting these heavy baggage guys............I just had to scratch my head. So, take this with a grain of salt and hope ML knows what the hek he's doing.

...he will implode at the most inopportune time, a la Stanley Wilson.

Overt Character issues? Check. Arrested? Check. High-risk? Check. Better Options Available? Check. F-it, let's draft the guy, we can fix him.

Did the players do what they did ?? YES... Are they f*cking idiots for doing so ?? YES... Did they ask to Cincinnati Bengals ?? NO... Wanna blame someone for these mentally constipated individuals being here ?? Look no further than the headshead of the organization. I, as well as many of you want to see these guys living up to their potential and going crazy "on the field", but all we can do is wait and see... Oh yeah and some prayers probably wouldn't hurt...

Oh yeah, that last comment about prayer is not an open invitation to bring up anything religious... Thank you...

WHODEY !!!

This is fast becoming one of the least likable rosters in the NFL surpassing the criminal Ravens and nearing the Raiders of the 70's. Taking one or two players on a roster with character issues is possibly coiencidence. Systematically drafting multiple red-flagged guys year after year looks like a plan. Possibly Marvin Lewis wants to challenge the team from the "Longest Yard" instead of winning a playoff game?!?!?

I think Marvin Lewis really set the tone when Chad Johnson got off scott-free for throwing a punch at a coach during half time of the playoff game while Kitna was chastised and traded away for talking about it. That really shows what types of actions are rewarded and what gets you punished in Camp Lewis. Pathetic example Marvin!!!!

Now wait. That punch thing has been debunked. None of what you said has been confirmed beyond really unfounded rumor.

You've got young men, most from poor backgrounds, with more money than they've ever seen and lots of free time. Plus since they are football players they they are probably going to have an aggressive, risk taking personality.

It's amazing more of them don't get into trouble.

The Bengals have always been an organization that gives players second and third chances, even when PB was running the show (remember Stanley Wilson). Sometimes it turns out good. Sometimes not.

If they win all will be forgiven and we'll be talking abouit how great they played instead of what knuckleheads they are.

Um...Stanley never played again

And sam was lucky not to be charged with cleaning a crime scene.

Give it a rest squeeler fan. Anybody whos been on the board for more than two weeks knows you've outed yourself repeatedly. Good act, nice use of your time to act like a fan of a rival team and bash from within....real genius. Here's the update, we all know that the CJ thing was overblown and that Kitna leaked it to attempt to justify his 2nd half "return to suckiness". Move on.

Since he was already a two time offender he was automatically banned for life after the Super Bowl incident. The Bengals had no choice in the matter. But he IS someone PB gave a second and third chance to. Obviously it didn't work out.

"Upstairs in his room, Wilson saw the white powder. The devil takes many forms. One of them looks like white powder in a plastic bag. Wilson was already a two-time loser under the NFL's drug policy. The league suspended him the entire 1987 season. Once more and he would be banned for life."

Drug charges vs. Obstruction of Justice in a Murder Investigation (conviction)...or simple burglary charges vs. federal drug conviction...

I don't think the Bengals have treaded into Ravens territory just yet...let's keep in mind, no Bengals players have been convicted of anything.

I agree the Longest Yard refs are played, and Adam Sandler does suck, but if referencing the Longest Yard, you're talking Burt Reynolds. A.S. as Paul Krew was a travisty of unlimited proportion...an unforgivable sin best forgotten.

I had forgotten it was his last chance, but do you believe he would have been on the team again?

What the heck is wrong with the raiders from the 70's. They only had a 100-38-6 record in that decade.

If the bengals match that over the next decade I'll take some off field issues. :bengal:
