ArmyBengal
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9447397Hunley conducted the workout for Brooks and did an interview with him. The article is a pretty good read. I don't think I'd give up anymore than a 4th for Brooks, but I'm betting someone gives a third...WHODEY !!! HairOnFire
I don't think I'd give up anymore than a 4th for Brooks, but I'm betting someone gives a third... I've read articles that claim the 49'ers are considering using a 2nd round pick on Brooks, but I'm not buying it. If they want him a 3rd round bid will probably be enough....and their 4th rounder is positioned so early it'll trump almost everyone. As for the Bengals, a late 4th round pick probably won't get the job done, but if I was interested that's the bid I'd make. That said, I don't expect the Bengals to make any bid even if a healthy Brooks is far better than any player you could get in next years 4th round. This is the wrong year for the Bengals to add another character question. Last, I'd only bid if Brooks projected as a LB in the Bengals scheme, not as a DE. There are simply too many questions about Brooks for me too add yet another one, a position switch, into the mix.
schweinhart
Holy smokes look at this guy. Some kind of leaping lizard and strong as an ox. http://www2.jsonline.com/packer/insider/dr...ixon&pos=LBIf there's any chance Odell is going to get rung up for awhile, it wouldn't hurt to snag another LB prospect, especially one who might be able to play middle or weak just for depth. schweinhart
Or maybe not...apparently Davey Dixon didn't crank it out quite like the claims:http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jm-d...o&type=lgns
