Kirkendall Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 From the Costa Rica Times...Lynch said he was prepared to make a decision before the Raiders contacted him to request a visit. He tentatively is scheduled to visit the Raiders this week. If Oakland signs Lynch, he would be the third former Buccaneers defender signed by the Raiders since free agency began March 3. The Raiders also signed outside LB Dwayne Rudd, in addition to Sapp. The Raiders have tried Derrick Gibson and Anthony Dorsett at strong safety the past 3 seasons, with neither player distinguishing himself. Lynch likely would assume the starting spot as long as his health holds up. He underwent neck surgery earlier this year to remove bone spurs. He said he has received medical clearance to play football. Quote

Like Sapp really wanted to be a Bengal!! If he was smart, he would have. Sapp would have done well here, and could have been "the man" to change things. HAHHAHAHAHA WRONG... He could have gotten that perception but MARVIN is the man to change things. Quote
