Spor_tees
Ok I just wanted to start a thread since I haven't done it in awhile. With the Bengals finally inking that elusive back-up QB, and with Arrington signing with the G-men, who is the next possible free agent the Bengal's could sign? If we don't draft a corner high in the draft,...maybe Charles Woodson? Spain can you guarentee Woodson is going to sign with the Bengals for me? Here is a quick list of some of the top free agents still left per Sout.com:Ty Law, Nate Clements, Charles Woodson, AHmed Plummer, Kerry Collins, Jeff Mitchell, DAvid Boston, and Keith Newman. Sox
Maybe there will be someone there after the June cuts. But as for right now,I don't want a single one those free agents.
KiLBurn
I also don't think we will be seeing any more signings, from outside our current roster, until after June 1st cuts. I would like to see them extend/restructure a few contracts though.
JPW
Who's next:Eric Steinbach ...Justin Smith ...Levi Jones ...Willie Anderson ...It is time to lock up as many of our own guys as we can.
HoTbOy
If they didn't sign any other FA, I would be happy with what we got, now let's have a good draft...and extend the O-line...we DON'T need CWoodson for anything....
BTG
I thought Clements was tagged by the Bills. Hmmm. If not, I'd love to see the Bengals go after him. He's a top tier corner with 5-7 years left before his natural ability deteriorates.
ArmyBengal
Put me in the camp of wanting no one else outside of our o-linemen...WHODEY !!!

kingwilly
With Arrington going to the G-men, looks like I owe Joisey a jersey. Also, let's not act like we care that J.Smith isn't getting any buzz for a new deal....he really does not deserve it. He may get an offer once his deal nears its end but getting one going now is WAAAY premature.

Yea I didn't put them in any particular order but now that I think about it, it seems like the Bengals might be going from the easiest to the hardest as their order. Kazkal
For those who don't think justin should get redone 2nd (after 1 linemen) is because if he has breakout season he'll command more money so might as well lock him up...After this season we can tag Levi well we work out a long term offer because hes gonna cost us same a top 5 left tackleWere gonna have plenty of cap room in 2007 with the contracts going up +it's raised by 7million so we'll probbley even have enough money offer willie so he'll stick around till he retires

He's a top tier corner with 5-7 years left before his natural ability deteriorates.I agree that Clements is the one guy from that list that I would love to have. But you are right he is tagged or at least he was tagged and even if the Bills removed the tag it would take big bucks to sign him.And at this point I would rather see the money go to extending the contracts of our offense lineman. Spor_tees
You guys are right, Clements got the Franchise tag by the Bills. I missed that. That is the reason I didn't list Jeff Backus, he got the Franchise tag by the Lions. So nix that one! I heard rumors on another board awhile back that Ahmed Plummer was in the area making unofficial visits...Too bad he turned down the Bengals before and now all he does is this... I still think for the right "cheap" price he could contribute.
Spain
Marvin said that CBs are to pricey. The real ? is could there be a trade coming? like the Deltha Oneal trade. I havent seen anything on the radar. Are you guys happy at 24? Could we trade down? Its draft time FAs is over till the next round.
