Bobcat Bengal
LenDale White: (Hamstring) Will Visit Pittsburgh Monday RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.comSaturday, April 15, 2006Update: White (hamstring) will visit the Steelers Monday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Recommendation: White, who revealed this past week that he has a torn hamstring, has seen his draft stock tumble of late, though the injury validates his decision not to run the 40 for scouts. With so much attention of late focused on his poor or incomplete workouts, his fine performance on the field during his college career at USC seems to have been glossed over by draftniks. With the #32 pick overall, the Steelers could well have a shot at the burly White, who would be the perfect replacement for the retired Jerome Bettis. ArmyBengal
I can't see them wasting a 1st rounder on a guy with a hamstring injury, but I guess you never know. I see White falling out of the 1st round altogether...WHODEY !!!

I see White falling out of the 1st round altogether...WHODEY !!!I wouldn't say it's wasting a pick.....at all.If anything, it's a steal.Remember, they DO have Willie Parker, so its not like they NEED him right away.Once again, for like, the third straight season, they seem to have the right player fall to them. ArmyBengal
I guess if he's not needed right away, this would be a good deal, but I just can't drafting him in the 1st to have him sit. I would think the Steelers need someone to come in and contribute. I could always be off, who knows ???WHODEY !!!

If any factor is affecting his draft status, its because he is a lazy bastard that has weight issues.
HairOnFire
I look at the Steelers drafting Lendale White as a potential best case scenario...for Bengal fans.
