Catitude
Do any of you feel that if the conditions were right for the ownership that they would move our team out of Cincinnati. I wouldnt want the fans to live the pain that the Browns fans did in 96. Would Mike have to Keep us here because of the new lease with the county or could he pick up our Cats and move to L.A. or anywhere else. Seems like with people wanting to sue him for not putting a competitive team on the field, the looseing record and Im thinking last year when we didnt sell out some games ..... If it wouldnt be in the back of his mind to just run. What do ya think?
kevnz
I don't see this happening. Usually a team moves because they can't get a new stadium, so that wouldn't be an issue. Attendance isn't a huge issue, and wouldn't be if they start winning. They do get sellouts sometimes (usually because the other team brings their fans along ) Attendance would have to really sink (think 10,000) for Brown to even have a case. I don't think the NFL would even let the Bengals move. Besides, Brown wouldn't get nearly the deal that he got for PBS so why move? Yeah there are bigger markets out their, but with the NFL revenue sharing program he won't make but so much more money. Besides, I don't think LA deserves another NFL team.
