CBin2k7
Hey West Coast Bengal Fan,If you ever need any where to catch a Bengals game, just let me know. I purchased Sunday Ticket so I could watch all the games. Charger fans can get annoying at sports bars, matter of fact if anyone is in the area let me know. I was the only Bengal fan at my house watching Bengal games last year.
andybren
You think Charger fans are bad, wait until RaiderNation pays a visit. And the displaced Steeler fans I encounter in LA are horrible. I'm tempted to go back to the Sunday Ticket just to avoid them.
CBin2k7
Trust me, I have seen Raider fan in the full effect. When they come head to head against the Chargers, it's like a UFC match in the parking lot. Charger fans are so fairweather it's not funny. When the Bengals came out here in 03, I had an chance to attend that game, and the stadium had alot more Cincy fans than I thought would ever be.Of course Steeler fans are all over the place out here. andybren
At least with the Chargers actually fielding a team lately, there will be fewer season ticket holders selling their tickets to East LA gangbangers.I went up to the Bengal/Raider game in '03. I don't want to say that I'm glad we lost, but I felt a lot safer.
hb-Bengalfan
doooood.....if I had those options to consider moving to.......I would give Phoenix a good hard look......Housing in Cali is going to kill you! Unless your company or whoever is covering you.The closer to the coast.....the more it's gonna cost you. And it's not only the house's price tag.........then you have to come up with 1% of the sales price for you taxes each year. whoa.....We bought a 4 bedroom townhouse 1 block from the beach in '96.....for just under $200k......10 years later......this same unit is now selling for over $700k....... 1% tax = $7k year ....ouch......I'm not knocking San Diego.......I love California......but Phoenix and other parts of Arizona are going to be the next big real estate boom. Go jump in early and reap all that equity!
HairOnFire
Thousand Oaks, California here. BTW, Raider fans get a bad rap. Many years ago I watched the Bengal/Raider playoff game from a sports bar filled with roughly 200 Raider fans. Guess who was the only guy in the place decked out head to toe in Bengal garb? I even had the Zubaz pants. I had a total blast the entire game, more than matched the smack directed my way, and got a standing ovation when I slowly pulled off my Bengal jersey when the outcome had finally been decided. (I had a Bengal T-Shirt underneath.) Last, the strangest thing about watching football on the left coast is feeling the urge to start drinking at 10AM on a Sunday morning. West Coast Bengal
The only time I got to watch a bnegals game out here was when I came out for a visit and the Bengals lost their playoff game to the steelers. As much as it fried my whole day, all I can say was it was over way earlier out here so when I was done pouting, the weather was still beautiful and I had most of the day left to spend in paradise. Easier to get over that way by far!
