ArmyBengal
Bauman ?? Ok, I guess, nothing monsterous (big suprise) depth is always good to have. Chatman wouldn't be a bad pick up at all, but hardly think it spells the end of Henry. I think it helps us in the mean time depending on suspensions and the status of squirel-boy...WHODEY !!! jjakq27
http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art.../603160340/1066 From today's Enquirer. Apparently he works out with TJ and Chad in SoCal during the offseason.
AMC
Chatman seems to be the possible replacement for Walter....Don't know if it's an indication about the future of Henry....I think Chatman would catch more balls than Walter and be a better PR than Ratliff...Bring him on....As for the QB, Brooks is out of the question. Head case that wants to start. McCown wants to start...The QB situation here is not conducive to these type of young guys. Martin seems the logical choice... Agreed on all points. As a wideout, Chatham would replace Walter. In fact, he'd be an upgrade. Plus, allowing Walter to take his 7-yard slant pattern to another team allows the Bengals to pocket a 7th round pick. It's win/win. As a punt returner, Chatham gives the Bengals another option if Ratliff can't regain his rookie form. Best, Chatham is careful with the ball, matching Ratliff's best quality. Again, win/win. I like it, and hope it happens.
redsbengalsbucks
Dont know much about Chatman other than he looked good against the Bengals this past season and we need a slot WR/PR. Dont overpay Walter when there are other options available.
Spor_tees
Don't forget that we signed the CFL guy Jeanty. He could turn out to be a Special Teams stud. What ever happenned to Kalid-Abdullah? I remember him getting hurt, but don't ever remember him getting cut or anything. He was the best combination for special teams with size and speed. Abdullah was cut outright before camp last year I do believe...I too had high hopes for him, but the injury and the inability to grasp the playbook cost him....Word was he was not too bright...But to stay on topic, the loss of Walter on Special teams could be compensated for...Wish K-Wash played teams, dang....
