These guys don't have the potential to earn alot of money once their playing career is finished and for someone who has put up the type of numbers O'Neal has he should have made much more money than he has over the course of his career. There's noone to blame but himself, but now he's got to makeup for lost wages.

Then let him make it up somewhere else. We do not owe him for one year of over contract production. If he really feels slighted then let him seek a trade and find out that no one is lining up to pay him more money. If you can't put back to back pro bowl like seasons together, you don't get paid like a pro bowler. He is going to make 2.5 million this year, how much is he worth? He has NEVER been a shutdown corner, even when he had 10 picks. That term is used way too much. Deltha guesses a lot and thus makes either ints or gives up big plays. When he is working hard and watching film, he guesses right a lot and makes plays. When he does not he gets smoked. That got him out of Denver. Now that is apparently unhappy and not working, do you think he is going to study and guess right or pout, not watch film, and guess wrong?

Also, if you can't be consistently be good across from Champ Bailey with constant safety help your way, when can you?

Disregarding last year because he played hurt all season, the year before he did not give up a single completion of over 20 yards the entire year. I think he might have been the only starting CB in the NFL to do that. Doesn't sound like the guy you are describing.

Also, Champ Bailey wasn't in Denver while Deltha was there, Champ was a Redskin. Deltha had struggled in 2006, but besides that he's been stellar for his time here. Like it or not his play has been under-apprieciated by the fans and front office.
