That free-agent visit will help Droughns determine whether Oakland is willing to give him a similar opportunity to carry the ball on a regular basis as an NFL TB, something he craves. Oakland has a void in its backfield with the departure of Charlie Garner to Tampa Bay. The Raiders are pursuing Cincinnati's Corey Dillon , reportedly offering a 3rd round pick to the Bengals in exchange for the mercurial back. But for now, Tyrone Wheatley and Justin Fargas are the chief candidates to become the Raiders' primary ballcarrier. A decision probably will come this week. Had first round talent at one time, but because of a series of injuries and fumbles reduced his stock severely.
