  1. Enquirer says he was a Bengal at some point, but I can't remember when. Did he have a short stint with the team before he signed with the Steelers? He was drafted by the Packers and only has stats for the Packers and Steelers. What gives?
  2. Screen shots of Bengals

Well, at least they got his jersey right. Oh wait, they didn't.
  3. NICHOLSON CUT!!

True, except a ball bat would probably leave a mark. Like the mark left on AJ's baby mama's face. I've seen many domestic violence situations at my job and there's usually plenty of stupidity on each side of the relationship/conflict. The pertinent difference here is that AJ was already on probation and just saw his employer hire several potential replacements for him. He would've been wise to walk away from any and all sources of drama in his life. Before they came after him with a ball bat.
  4. Nuggets

Trash talking doesn't equal leadership but its better than a mediocre journeyman quietly playing for a paycheck. Worse case scenario, those anonymous "veterans" will feel the need to prove the smart ass newcomer wrong. It might not lead to the most peaceful locker room, but I've got no problem with somebody, anybody telling a teammate to put up or shut up.
  5. OJ gets the boot

Seriously? The vengeful father is worse than the man who killed the son? The story I heard was that any money OJ wins in a lawsuit goes to Goldman and Goldman has already made a gentleman's agreement to give the money back.
  6. Taking a hint from Billy's post on the Perry/Larson thread, I thought this might work as an off-season distraction.
  7. Palmer Bashing on Wikipedia.com

The guy who did this is pretty screwed up... Link Added to the Reds' page: Added to the "Real World" page: Added to the Bob Ross page: Personally, I think Wikipedia vandalism is a pretty retarded way to spend your free time, but if you're looking for payback, he appears to be a Louisville football fan.
  8. 7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe

Actually in the phone interview with Big Toe on bengals.com he says that in the past he played with both Peko and Fanene. I don't know when...maybe high school or JUCO? But at some point he was on the same team. Peko, Fanene and Big Toe all went to the same high school. As did Big Toe's "little" brother Simi who will be a sophomore at Oregon next year. Hence the name confusion on SI.com.
  9. 7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe

None that I can remember recently. According to my 2001 media guide there have been 8 total... Mike Brennan, Jim Browner, Ross Browner, Tom Carter, Mike Doughty, Oliver Gibson, Karmeeleyah McGill, Ray Zellars. Gibson would be most recent unless there have been some undrafted FA's since 2001. Jeff Burris was one, and also Ricardo McDonald. Right about Burris, but McDonald went to Pitt.

  11. 7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe

Actually it was Michigan State, like Askew. Guess I got my green jerseys mixed up. Besides we get our offensive linemen from Central Michigan. Just like we get WR's from Oregon State, RB's from Auburn and DE's/LB's from Georgia.
  12. 7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe

Hey, you gotta make the most of your scouts. Wonder if they actually watched Big Toe play this year, or just remember him from scouting Peku last year?
  13. 7th Round: Chinedum Ndukwe

Just like that Ethan Kilmer guy
  14. 7th Round: Dan Santucci

    Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
  15. Troy Smith

    We already have Reggie McNeal.
