Can you name any "off-season" problem committed by a Bengal player not named Henry? Nicholson and Rucker both have problems so minor they will be laughed out of court and we still have no idea what Odell tested positive for or even if he tested at all. That leaves Henry and askew and Askew is no longer on the team, quit believing everything you read this was just a bunch of bored journalists trying to find something to write about in the slow season.
As for the steelers, how many problems did Santonio have in the offseason? Heck he rivals Henry.
I'm glad Santonio is tarnishing Steeler's squeaky clean image. I just wish everyone could be as classy as Carson- glad he is the face of the franchise. Don't know what we'll happen with Thurman but according to his history of problems in college (I read the details before the 2005 draft) he seems to be a genuine scumbag. Talent AND character wins championships- there are some exceptions to that rule but not many.

Henry is a piece of garbage- we should cut bait. We are too great of a city to have dirtbags like him representing us. Wish everyone could be as classy as Carson.

I'm very concerned about the off field problems. I know a lot dismiss them as media hype but I'm concerned Marvin is letting things get out of control. We have the nucleus here to win more than one Lombardi- but first we have to clean up the garbage. One rotten apple spoils the bunch. I hate to say it but the Steelers are evidence of what building around character guys can accomplish. Now let's get the season started- I'm ready for some football!

There is no guarentee that the corner that the Steelers could draft at 24 would be as good as Ike Taylor
There's no guarantee that our 1st round pick we spent on Ike Taylor won't be riding the pine behind our two former pro-bowl corners. There's no guarantee that Ike Taylor won't suck worse than Greg Brooks without proper safeties behind him.
There IS, however, a guarantee that we have bigger needs than a slightly better than average cornerback.
Dude what are you smoking- this guy won't suck no matter what safeties are playing behind him. He can run with anybody in the league. He'might be the only corner I've ever seen shadow Chad. He is fast as hell, look at his measurables- more important he can play football. I tell you what, I guarantee you any team who was guaranteed their pick would turn out to be as good as Taylor would be more than satisfied to take it with the 24th pick in the draft. And most importantly, he'll seriously upgrade our defense and enable Chad to run wild in the Steelers secondary like he does in every other one.

Kimo was just a drop in the bucket compared to my hatred for their F*CKING fans. I just can't stand ignorance and their fans just seem to have gotten the lions share. The rivalry is stronger than ever with TJ and the towel and now Carson stating how much he hated seeing them win it all. This will be a great game (PHYSICAL) for many years...

I hate the fans as well- was lucky enough to get tickets to the playoff game(although I regret going after the cheap shot on Carson). Their fans were so obnoxious- saw a couple Steeler fans beating some Bengals fans up in the bathroom. Disgusting- All those people from Pittsburgh think they're so tough.

I don't know if he's worth a first round pick or anything like that, but he's a solid corner, and I would love to have him starting opposite Deltha, with Tory as the nickel back.
I still think we should draft a CB in the draft, perhaps Jason Allen or Antonio Cromartie, simply because they have the potential to be shutdown corners.
I don't know- I hate the Steelers but don't like our chance of overtaking them until we improve our Defense. I remember even in the dark years we always had our way with their secondary. And now, as we approach the level of an elite team it seems like the Steelers have a corner who owns Chad. I think that was the big difference between us ultimately- Defense. Hope we address it bigtime in the draft.

from the Squeelers. I think he's worth a first round pick and and Pittsburgh doesn't have cap room to match if we make the right offer. Hate to say it but he really seems to have Chad's #. He would look good in Bengals Stripes don't you think.

Kimo is now with the Jets. Do you think players look at shot on Carson as more of an indvidual thing with Kimo or in broader terms of symptomatic of how the Steelers and Cowher play. I hope it is the latter.

What do you guys think? I know he has a reputation of being a little lazy but I think he's going to be dominant in NFL. He worked over all of the top offensive line prospects at the combine from what I saw.

The best quarterback in the game, one of the best running backs in the league- Chad, TJ, Henry- an extremely underated offensive line which may be top 3 in the league? Are we not one of the best offenses of the past 10-15 years????
