They start the season tomorrow night against Seattle. While expect many growing pains with the team, I’m still pumped for pro soccer.

I have played since I was 4 and even played on some Army teams along my time in service. Soccer bores some, but it is a passion of mine.

Reports from the fight say Rhonda was ineffective and Holly was making her eat jab after jab in the first round before catching her with a left in the second and ending the fight with a brutal kick, knocking Rousy unconscious before she even hit the canvas. From what clips I saw from the fight, the (former) champ was totally out classed. Even now I smell a rematch coming, but given what I saw in this fight I can't imagine it turning out any differently.

Dempsey's goal after 31 seconds offered so much promise but after Altidore went off injured the USA never looked the same team.

Some good games so far, and just two crap games so overall a pretty good tournament to date.

Holland thrashing the holders Spain 5-1 was great to see, as was Germany stuffing Portugal 3-0.

Eye-opening result of the tournament so far? Got to be Costa Rica 3-1 Urguguay.

But my favourite result without doubt .... Italy 2-1 England ..... LOVE IT !!!!

My issue is, who do I root for ??

If there is a team I identify with the most, it's the Spurs.

I lived in San Antonio for 7 years and was there for both the 2003 and 2005 championships.

I went to a lot of those games during my time there and like them alot.

Then there is the team everyone loves to hate in the Heat.

People despise LeBron James and wish bad things upon the Heat for what they deem as "buying a championship".

The thing for me is that I hate the Cavs owner (Dan Gilbert) more and would love nothing more than to see him continue eating the words of his promise to Cavs fans. The whole guarantee about the Cavs winning a championship before James "The former King" and the Heat do. To see James win two in a row would just be comical from that standpoint.

It's a no lose situation for me. :sure:
