  1. Tell me again how great the backup o-line was: https://twitter.com/JasonRG83/status/1690182432077594624?s=20
  2. Too early but man, I wonder how effective DJ Turner is going to be this season. So far looks like he's going to need more time. Just keep seeing him get burned and mis-play balls (had one nice play today though). May be nothing as it's just camp, will see what he does in preseason. You don't mess with the Burrow injury at this point, can't imagine it'll keep him out of any regular season games unless he re-aggravates it, but I imagine they're just being overly cautious (obviously). Just wonder if he'll come out rusty again like last season started or not.
  3. Yeah not shocked or even worried yet. I guess it'll be interesting to see if he flashes more than Sample in preseason games, just too much of a talent gap IMO. Want him to work so that Hubbard/TH get more snaps off, w/o the production or consistency dropping-off like it does. Hopefully Sample turns into something too, I don't care who does I guess.
  4. Saw the first Depth Chart was released. The only oddity of sorts was seeing Myles behind Sample on the depth chart. But, most rookies are in similar situations regardless except Battle I believe. Yet, I'd think a 1st round pick could out-play Sample at some point early on? I know Cam has looked better/good in camp, and of course has multiple seasons of experience, but figured Myles would play a significant role in the rotation at some point this season. Realize this could change in a week, but did they really just draft him for depth behind Hubbard and Tre for the next 2-3 years? Or maybe that happens when you just draft a true BPA at the end of the 1st.
  5. Charlie Jones left on a cart, left shoulder/arm injury, was shaking his head, frustrated - Rauch
  6. Turner apparently sharing reps with CTB with the #1's. But so is Ivey. I assume it's just camp match-up stuff.
  7. Good move for Fins probably., with Ramsey out. 1 year deal (curious what $ is). Odd that he was available I guess, would think a # of teams would've been interested. No idea.
  8. TJ Says he's underrated and I agree: https://www.yahoo.com/sports/t-j-houshmandzadeh-says-bengals-033048677.html He'll be less expensive than Tee, not by a ton, but his #'s aren't so gaudy that he won't be affordable, unless some team just gets stupid (entirely possible). When I look back at all the highlights from the last 2-3 years, Boyd is everywhere, always making a huge 3rd down play or tough catch when they needed it, big TD's etc.., I don't know how they replace what is probably the best slot WR in the league. But, the Bengals' won't pay all 3. I'd be tempted to approach him and Tee and extend whomever is most affordable/realistic, and find out (if they haven't). If Tee wants #1 money, I pay Boyd instead if he's reasonable and wants to stay, for instance. Don't want to lose 2 of the 3 either.
  9. Knew I forgot someone (AJ), think I was drunk posting, and maybe TJ. Curtis and Chad can be interchangeable, I think that top 5 is what it will end-up being (in whatever order), and they should all be voted-in at some point sooner than later. Most of the iconic players here were Rb's and Wr's and Qb's I guess. Not many beyond those 3 except maybe OT, as far as positions with multiple "BHOF" worthy guys. Maybe it's like that everywhere, but the Bengals' for a few decades went through a lot of bad players.
  10. I'm trying to rank the Bengals' WR's. I think it's this: (not sure if I'm forgetting someone) CJ Pickens Curtis Brown Collinsworth Scott Boyd McGee (add Higgins and/or Chase above these guys eventually)
  11. More rambling: Darnay Scott and Boyd are going to probably end-up with very similar career #'s here after this season, but unless Boyd signs an extension, doubt he matches Scott's receiving yards and TD totals. Darnay Scott is a bit underrated, Eddie Brown had 41 TD's to Scott's 37, and Scott had more rec'ing yards than Brown. Tim McGee is behind all of the above. Pickens, with 63 career TD's and and 7130 yards wipes them all out except Ocho Weirdo, even Isaac Curtis, who comes in at #3 with 53 TD's and 7100 yards I believe. I'm here for Pickens, Dillon and even Darnay, Pickens and Dillon should be immediate, forced selections, Mike Brown's vote should be skipped for prejudicial negligence.
