ArmyBengal Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 If we go 9-7 and we miss the playoffs than I will be mad, but I think Marvin will do better than that this season because we have our run defence back. Well, as I stated before, if we find a way to stop the run, it's on... I still am not wholeheartedly sure we are set with our run D. Sorry if I don't share the same optimism as most seem to have here, but am I understanding that the infusion of two more rookies into our starting line up and a free agent (Robinson) is the "automatic" upgrade we are talking about for our run D ?? I know, I know, we couldn't do any worse, but is it a lock to say we are going to be top 10 ?? I think we improve to the teens, but I just don't see it happening right away for this D. On paper, we are studs, but I'm still from the mindset of, "show me on the field".Blind faith is a Warrant song (yes I loved the hairbands) not how I go into evaluating our ability to stop the run. On that note, I hope to be proven wrong in all areas of concern, our defense lands in the top ten, and we make a trip to the playoffs. Just find a way to stop the run guys.... PLEASE !!!
