Wild Card Weekend: Raiders @ Bengals

Recommended Posts

If it is New England, then their radio guys have already given the Bengals some absolutely beautiful bulletin board material to make Wink Martindale jealous.

Sports talk radio is one of those businesses where being an obnoxious asshole is a job requirement.

Is anyone really worried about New England ??  Seriously ??
If there is one team I would love to draw it's them.

Not sure who those guys are and don't care.  My life is probably better off not knowing.
Here's to hoping they all get hit by a bus on their way home today.
Yes, i'm that guy.  No fucks given.

If its New England... I'm sure the Pats production staff will probably be filming this weekend in Cleveland for some "special" insiders look.

This is neither the first or last time a room in New England will be full of deflated balls.

So, assuming Bills win over Jets, if Pats lose and Raiders win, then we face Raiders.

If Pats lose and Chargers win, we face Pats.

Dolphins up 14-0 early on Pats.

Also jets win plus pats win plus raiders/chargers tie equals bills coming to town. So probably not…

I am just focusing on most likely scenario at this point -which is Bills win and Pats loss.

If both Bills and Pats win then we get Pats in any event.

Raiders or Patriots offer questionable QB opposition. Cannot complain. LAC not so much.

Patriots don't look too good, Miami up 17-0 already,  that matchup seems that it might be ideal.  I  hate having to play or beat any team a 3rd time.

If the Bills win, Pats lose and the Chargers win, we still play the Pats.  If the same result but the Raiders beat the Chargers, we play the Raiders

Under the circumstances, I am finding myself with a mindset that the Bengals should beat whoever they face at home, and if they don't I'll be mad.

Miami wins on a lol defensive TD.

Okay, so our opponent should be guaranteed either NE or LV (NE if LV loses tonight).

What's preferred?

- Face the rookie QB + Belichick defense

- Face the worst AFC playoff team sans-Pittsburgh, but for the second time with film already available for both sides

Only thing with the Pats is

Belichick has won  a 100 playoff games and knows how to win them

Zac Taylor has none, and has really won nothing as of yet. Plus the Bengals suck against rookie QBs.
