Wild Card Weekend: Raiders @ Bengals

Recommended Posts

Something nobody seems to be talking about. The Bengals defense vs. the Raiders offense. The Bengals very well might be held in check (relatively) concerning scoring a lot of points. But does anyone think the Raiders are just going to plow through the Bengals defense?

I can see some timely turnovers and consistent pressure on Carr all game. If the Bengals get some short fields, the Raiders have little chance.

Whoever turns the ball over loses the game IMHO

Yep.

The pass rush might be a serious issue for the shoddy offensive line.

Of the Raiders.

My single most confident feeling entering this game is that I don’t think the Raiders will score a ton. So whatever happens with Crosby et al… just do a little better than they do. No reason they cannot do that.

Well just scored tickets.   Now I'm nervous.    Nephew's first ever game.   Son's first playoff game.

It’s my son’s first playoff game as well and is he fucking amped beyond belief. That’s going to be cool to share with him.

Along with that, my buddy who is retired Navy is coming in for the game as well. He’s 46 and he’s a Raiders fan. However, he’s never seen a football game EVER, so this is going to be good.

I’m crazy excited about the whole damn thing !!

Oh yeah, we ARE going to fucking win.

I would also expect Burrow to take off running quite a bit in the game. If they’re going to rush 4 and sit 7. If Mixon gets going, play action time. Lights out.

Man my nerves are going crazy right now! I know this is not a Marvin Lewis, Andy Dalton playoff team, but every time I have had such high hopes for them in the playoffs they let me down big time. They have had so many winnable playoff games and lost all of them. It’s about time they just come out and crush them!!!

Downtown at the Banks. Holy Grail full - couldn’t get in if you wanted to. At Moerlein’s. Good early energy. Almost 100% bengals gear everywhere - saw just a few raiders fans.

This place is ready to explode. Proportion of Raiders fans might be 2-3%.

We are headed down in about an hour.
Soaking up as much warmth as I can before leaving the house.

One game note.  What ever the Bengals need to do to help Prince at the RT spot against Crosby today, they better do.
I don't care if it's the TE, RG, RB or fucking towel boy.  Just get him some help.

Just do what I do and expect the worst. It’s very calming and you just might end up pleasantly surprised.

Raiders fans in attendance are confident too, understandably out of their four game win streak. Everyone underestimates Joe Burrow.
