Week 17: Chiefs @ Bengals

Really REALLY want Pittsburgh to take Cleveland off the board next Monday. That would give us another route - a ravens win then over Steelers in baltimore would get us through then (assuming rams beat ravens on Sunday) no matter what happens with us in Cleveland.

Would rather see them take out a Chiefs team that little to no motivation after clinching the #1 seed.  That renders the Cleveland game meaningless and they could even choose to sit guys should they so desire.

Don’t get me wrong, I will take a limp into the playoffs, but would prefer going in as a hot team that took care of business.

I was assuming they would be nickel or dime anyway - but...it isn't Kelce that Pratt's absence affects - it is their ability to clamp down on the run game in general. It's a problem - especially if Pratt is delayed at all in getting back for the Browns game.

We REALLY need a Steelers win monday night to take browns off the playoff table and give us one more path to the playoffs.

Its up to the Bengals offense to match or put scoring pressure on the Chiefs.

The game against Baltimore was poor tackling effort rather than lack of coverage of the TE.   The majority of the game they were content to let the TE run 3/5 yards and turn around.   The problem came in the rally and tackle part.

However, as the game progressed it became clear the Ravens weren't going to beat the Bengals by just running the TE 3 yards turn around and then break tackles.

The Ravens gave a good effort but never broke mold of dink and dunk and that simply wasn't going to win them the game.

This week entirely different as the offense will have pressure to match the KC offense.  KC offense will kill a defense anyway you let them.  We got to force them into gambling on big plays and hopefully those turn into negative plays.
