Bye Week Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Just in case anyone wants to talk about the other games this week.

Jets (1-6) - Fins (0-7) is a win for us no matter what happens.

Skins (1-7) play the Bills (5-2) and are starting Haskins at QB so probably no help there.

Browns and Denver, both 2-5, play at Mile High. Again a win no matter what but I’m rooting for the Clowns. They need to fall down the draft as far as possible.

2-5 Jints play the Boys and 2-5 Tampa is up against the Hags in Seattle. Not seeing much there.

That Jets Dolphins game is unfortunate.  Just a couple bad teams.  Go Dolphins.

But watching a bit of the Texans game and there’s Jonathon Joseph, in his 14th year.  Wish we could’ve hung on to that dude.  He still looks pretty solid.

We went to the Texans Colts game a couple weeks back and my son got a selfie with Joseph. Good guy...

Jets shank a FG try, Fitzmagic drives the Fins down for a score. 7 all.

And the Jets get a big return leading to a TD. 21-14.

Update: TD overturned, Darnold throws a pick the next play! Still 21-7.

Find a way to drop the one in Miami and it should be smooth sailing.  Unless Finley is Tom Brady.

It will take resolve to get it done week 17 against the Dolphins.  But if we stay determined, we can lose that game.  We don’t even have to try to lose it.  We’re bad enough, we’ll just straight up get beat.

But if we focus too much on that last game, we could easily overlook our December 1st game against the Jets.  Classic “trap” game that we could easily win if we overlook it and don’t take it seriously.

Kevin Harland and Rich Gannon are horrible.

They just talk and talk missing key parts of obvious on field action.

They initially talked like Baker made a 4th and 1 sneak when it was clear the official was marking him short.

Didn’t catch it unfortunately. But the Browns getting shafted is par for the course. At least Denver is moving further away.

Go Giants!
