Other NFL games.

Seeing Gruden uncomfortable on the sideline last night, while his team got pasted, was pretty enjoyable to watch.
That probably doesn't speak well about me personally in taking joy in that, but whatever.

5 first round picks in two years is nothing to sneeze at.
However, when you trade away guys like Mack and Cooper, they better hit on the replacements.

You see where the crap shoot begins. Giving up proven top notch players on whims and prayers down the line.

That was a great game to watch.  While Drew Brees does get mentioned as being a very good QB, it always seems to be a step down from the "Greats".
Maybe I just haven't paid enough attention and maybe he is always spoken about in the same manner, but that dude is amazing.

Still rooting for the Rams if for no other reason than one Mr. Whitworth !!!
No one is more deserving to win than him.

Thank God when we let him walk, we had Ogbuehi to backfill him.....  What ??  Oh, disregard....

Just watched the Vikings lose to the 49ers.  I feel bad for Zim.  He had a good year though.  Cousins did not look great.  I have to admit it was hard to evaluate him because he barely had time to do even his first read.  It looked like one of our playoff games.

What looked like one of our playoff games for sure was the Ravens last night. Wow. Dropped passes, dumb penalties, bad game plan ( they kept throwing the ball to Seth Roberts in the first quarter???), generally playing tight - bad coaching , they did a full bengals under marvin. That’s what they get for signing Andre Smith last week (and peko mid year) - they cursed themselves.

Watching the Chiefs-Texans. Kelce catches a TD right before the half. 2 feet in the end zone. Maintains possession to the ground. But he is falling towards the line of scrimmage and his body and the ball land on the 1 yard line.

Question. If he's making a tip toe catch in the back of the end zone where he's outstretched and the ball is never caught in the plane of the end zone....it's seen as a clear TD. Why is there a question when players catch the ball with their feet in the end zone but the ball doesn't break the "plain" going towards the line of scrimmage?

Some of the now traditional NFL rules don't make any sense. The root of the word touchdown was because you used to have to literally touch the ball down on the ground in the end zone. Now there's all kinds of convoluted nuiances to what is a catch or a catch for a TD.
