Bengals @ Bills Pregame Chatter

A bit early I know but news this morning that the Bills are also a mess at RB. Bad news is that they recently signed well-known Bengal-killer Boom Herron...

The Bills' offense is predicated on running the ball and at one point they enjoyed a luxury of options in the backfield, but injuries to top back LeSean McCoy and impact rookie Karlos Williams have created a cause for concern.

McCoy, who missed almost all of the preseason with a hamstring injury that he quickly aggravated during an unproductive return last month, has told the team he is going to take every precaution with the lingering problem now. The team is preparing to be without him for at least the rest of this month, sources said.

Williams suffered a concussion and will not play Sunday, and the team anticipates he could miss an additional game. Those injuries will force the Bills to go with Anthony Dixon, who is not built to be an every-down back, and recently-signed Dan Herron instead.

Doc:

It's not just that the Bengals are winning every game. It's how. They are a coach's cliché dream. They don't give up, they play together, they're rewarded for the work they provide. God love 'em, they're sounding so much like Marvin Lewis, they proclaimed this just another game and swore they were already thinking about next Sunday, at Buffalo.

That's important. It's good to see a team adopt the personality of the coach.

scary trap game coming down the pike. On the road v a depleted but dangerous Bills team. I mention elsewhere that Tyrod is very similar to Wilson, and the Bills D is possibly better than Seattle. Bengals need to keep their heads down and stay focused. no let up, isolate th hype and noise bout 5-0 or playoffs or whatever. On to Buffalo and bring their A game. Go home to a by with a win and 6-0.

Amazing how this team can still play better, get Burfict back, and think how scary they could be in December/January. Bad weather, Jeremy Hill and Gio rolling, tingly feelings....

Great time to be a Bengals fan. Show your stripes. Billy keep your girl there, she must be good luck, and maybe one of your best ever....;)

Don't see this as a trap game. That team knows Rex Ryan and won't want to lose to him - and Hue was passed over for that job last year after he thought he had it is my understanding - guessing no problem being ready for this one.
