I want them called out. Tannehill is atrocious. It's still early in some cases, but it's remarkable how so many QBs have gone south so quickly after signing big-bucks deals. In early 2014, the Bears gave Jay Cutler a $126 million deal and were lauded for it. They've won six games since. Same year, Colin Kapernick got his big payday and the Niners were lauded for it. They're 9-11 since. This year, Ryan Tannehill got paid and the Dolphins were lauded for the extension. A month into the season Tannehill has been terrible and the Dolphins are a dumpster fire. Russell Wilson got an $87 million extension in August, and the Seahawks were lauded for it. The Seahawks are 1-2 going into tonight's game. And the Bengals? They gave Andy Dalton a $115 million extension in August of 2014. They were ripped up one side and down the other for it by the media while a majority of their fan base crapped a brick and bitched they ought to have let him play out his deal and start McCarron in 2015. Yep, it's blacked out until 24hours after the final whistle.
