ArmyBengal Posted September 23, 2013 Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 The Reds start up their second to last series tonight with the Mets coming to town for the next 3 games.Cueto, Leake, and Reynolds (ugh) will be taking the mound for the Reds.Just don't overlook the Mets thinking about the next series with the Pirates.The Pirates start 3 at the Cubs tonight.The Cards start 3 with the Nationals at home tonight.GO REDS !!! ArmyBengal Posted September 24, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2013 It took the Reds 10 innings to do it, but they pulled out the 3-2 win over the Mets.Best part ?? The Reds clinched a playoff berth, so it's a Wild Card scenario at worst.The Reds and Pirates are still 2 games behind the Cards with 5 to play.It's just fun watching the games when your team is in it this time of the season.Now if Ludwick can find a way not to leave so many people on the bases, they will be alright.At the end of 9, the Reds left 13 on base. ArmyBengal Posted September 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2013 Reds lose 4-2 with Leake not having the best night.At 3 games back with 4 remaining, the NL Central title is pretty much not a goal.However, it would be nice to see them head into the Pirates series within a game of them.Please don't suck Reynolds.The homefield advatage in the Wild Card game is still up for grabs.Then again, the Pirates are only 2 games out and "may" catch the Cards.Who knows ??Everyone is playing early games today as well.GO REDS !!! Not a single run and only 4 hits.The Cards won and the Cubs are beating the Pirates in the 7th.At least this last series will be for homefield for the Wild Card.
