ArmyBengal Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 The Reds have the day off today and then welcome the Cards into town for a 3 game series.Leake, Latos, and Arroyo will be pitching for the Reds.The Cards counter with Wainwright (8-3), Lyons (2-1), and Lynn (8-1).The Reds are sitting 2.5 behind the Cards, so this is an opportunity for them.I'm curious to see how they handle coming off the Rockies series and facing the best team in the majors right now.I also wonder if Phillips is going to be back. He said he could have pinched hit in Tuesdays game, so maybe he can get back in.On a side note, I will be on vacation starting tomorrow for the next week, so someone is going to have to keep the Reds threads going if wanted.THANKS AND GO REDS !!! redsbengalsbucks Posted June 10, 2013 Report Share Posted June 10, 2013 I attended the Sat. game. It was a very good game to watch. The Reds looked less than thrilled to be playing in the early part of the game but after Mesaraco's HR things turned around.
