Guess who sprained the same ankle as before?

At this rate he'll be coming out in week 1 on crutches and neck brace...

Here's another write-up.

I love how Tomlin blames the media for the Ben injury updates. Ben is the one who usually draws the media's attention to them... all so that people can discuss his courageous and heroic ability to play through the soreness that nearly every NFL lineman plays through without complaint.

BIG issues for the Browns with Haden and Richardson.

With questions swirling about the knee of top-three draft pick Trent Richardson, a report has now emerged that 2010 top-1o pick Joe Haden could miss the first four games of the season for violating the league’s policy against steroids and related substances.

Whatever the Browns’ medical staff saw on Richardson’s MRI, they’re worried enough that they’re sending him to see the renowned sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who performed arthroscopic surgery on the same knee in February.

Holy Hell, the Browns better hope this stuff works it's way out...

Priceless comment from the PFT thread on Hayden:

Wow, poor Browns fans.

The rookie RB they spent a top 3 pick on is hurt. The best defensive player is suspended. The QB is a 28 year-old rookie. The teams best player is a tackle. The owner is a Steelers fan. Things can’t get much worse.

:lmao:

Richardson gets the knee scoped. Should be back in time for the season but the lost camp time has to hurt since they were basically building the offense around him.

If it takes Joey Votto 4-5 weeks in order to be healthy enough to play 1B, I have to think that playing RB in the NFL would take a little longer. Doing Trent's job is tough on sound, healthy knees. The Browns knew there were issues with his knee when they traded up to get him. Now they get to live with this uncertainty

  • 2 weeks later...

Fired their special teams coach two weeks before the season opener? That guy must have done something really really wrong. Not sure how the media the the nation of Steelers front running fans will spin this to conform with their "the organization that does everything right and is so smart" opinion, but they'll do it somehow.

Injuries suck. This is a reminder that our last preseason game was not as bad as our first even though we looked terrible. The first one where we lost or 5 players was the worst thing that can happen in these games. The Steelers just found that out tonight.

Sounds like Decastro's season may be done. They're doing an MRI but he's believed to have hurt both the ACL and MCL in his knee.

They also lost DE Brett Keisel to the dreaded high ankle sprain. Supposedly only a minor sprain but he's a ? to start week one now.

Searay's right: injuries do suck.

Ray Lewis GONE for season.

Baltimore Ravens Action Items:

1. Reduce weekly eye-black order by about a case.

2. Find mentally unstable person to gyrate onto field in unnatural and aberrant fashion. Extreme chest sticking out required.

3. Lengthen practice to include daily jumping-on-the-pile drills. If no one steps up, scour waiver wire for known pile jumpers.

4. Implement new plan to determine if, in fact, there are any dogs in the house.

Not taking pleasure in seeing Ray get hurt whatsoever, but that is just funny...

At this point in his career, having Lewis out is probably an advantage for the Ravens.

I would only agree with that thought as of this season.

He lost a lot of weight heading into this season and i'm left wondering how much that affected him?

Like I said though, never wishing ill will upon anyone.

I think the Ravens miss his presence.
