They have had Justin smith for how many years? Has he had any double digit sack seasons? If they sign Arrington, they are going to draft 2 DT in the draft one of which will either be a first or second rounder...and if the right guys fall, maybe in the first AND second round. I'd love to see some of the top TE's, but if we could get a Bunkley and Watson with our first 2 picks and get a Fassano in the third...I would nut my shorts. Maybe this is plan "B". The Bengals were going to sign Sam Adams, but then Arrington approached the Bengals and told them he "wanted" to come here and was willing to negotiate on price just to play for Marvin and a winner? Ive watched him for a couple of years here in DC. When he gets what he wants, ie.,plays what and where he wants...position wise.....he thrives. Anything else, I just see a lot of bitchin' and not a lot of playin'. He is definitely a "me" guy. Has it happened even one time when one of these former players actually signed with the Bengals? The Jags were also said to be making a strong renewed push. Haven't seen anything this a.m. about a signing, but ya never know (ok, well, you do know he won't be signed by Cincy, but other than that...) How do you get your "wires crossed" about something like this? Obviously a ploy that I don't even particularly care about anymore. Just get me one fat guy (Grady Jackson or Adams), a backup QB (Anthony Wright or Jamie Martin) and let's get to the draft as soon as possible so that I don't have to keep hearing about all this idiocy in Free Agency.
