I love how the Steelers hold guys up and strip at the ball. The very second your team does the same.....whistle blew. There was probably a handful of times progress had been stopped by a Bengal ball carrier and they strip at it. If the ball would have come out, I"m sure there wouldn't be any whistle. Crazy how fast the whistle is on the opposite side. Then it's been all season Burrow simply isn't protected by the Refs AND Zac Taylor needs to start bitching about it game week and post game. Even if he has to take a couple fines. There's been several late hits not called on Burrow. Holding simply isn't called on the Steelers o-line either. Keep in mind this is not to say the Bengals could have or should have won. No they are a better team AND OUR defenders have a chance to intercept balls or sack a QB and they don't. Just annoying on top of the loss.

Vilma was annoying, BUT he was correct about the Bengals not trying to run the ball. I don’t think out come changes but they have got to start forcing teams to stop dropping so many in coverage
-
Very rude reminder of how far off they are. They are probably 10 starting player upgrades away from being able to compete at that level when a team that good is playing good. Hopefully some of the guys out today can close the gap But still need to scrap some cap space and start adding all kinds of FAs and draft picks.

They were asking Ross to play corner in practice due to the injury situation at the position. It wasn’t a full time switch. As noted he got hurt running routes before he got to the CB part of the programming.

Getting Mixon back will be key too. I have not heard anything on him.
-
In 2008 (a crappy season) the team started making similar moves in-season picking up Cedric Benson and a couple others. Some worked and some didn’t but they started filling holes to make it possible for division run in 2009. Hopefully these moves fill holes for next year’s team.

I think he is a two point stance DE. Hopefully they can get him some good rush snaps.
-
Keep him rushing up field and he probably makes some plays.

Steelers just placed a bunch of players on COVID list including Ben. Dan Patrick reporting they can't practice for 5 days and could play IF all the tests work out etc. Going to get dicey the next few days on who is playing vs. who is not.

Dude he almost died.... had a fever of 200 degree afterward, I'm sure.

Steelers v Cowboys: Reminds me of 80s Electronic Football.

Dunlap mailed it in after Pauly G left. That dude was a star by name only these last few years. If he turns it on, Seattle got a steal

I wish Burrow would get calls like these other QBs.

Lol that Ravens player just step over Rivers on the scoop and score

I know we are all about offensive line this off season, but the Grimes kid WR from Florida would be awesome to have. Basically a taller AJ Green. Also was with Burrow at OSU before transfer to Florida

Walked into B Dubs while kids are at practice and of course there’s your Cincinnati born Steeler loving fan sitting right there. Never fails

It’s a match up deal. You have Dupree and Watt no matter what. Take the % on which side they rush from and then figure out who’s skills line up best against each rusher. Offenses are waaaay behind this. If defenses are going to move rushers then they need to start moving linemen. By the way Dupree needs to be a Bengal next year.

I still think line is shitty, BUT what you were saying here is playing out in front of our eyes. Kudos on presenting a key stat.

J. Joe got "Mossed" on a couple throws. One was 3rd down and the other was PI in the endzone both against Higgins. Reminds me of a rookie Green "Mossing" Troy P and Ike Taylor in the same game. Next thing you know those guys are on an injury list and then retiring shortly afterward. Just might be that time J. Joe.

I don't like to kick Dalton when he's down; but man I wish we had Burrow during 2012-1015.
-
Doesn't it feel like back to the future for Gio? He's gets drafted has some big plays early and everyone is like "Wow what a weapon coming out of the backfield!" Then it just seem he was under utilized for several years. Don't know what to blame that on but it's nice to see him become a weapon out of the backfield again. He's been big this whole year.
-
I would wonder if they are holding Burrow’s release time against the line grading them as neutral thus shrinking the number of plays that factor in.
-
Haven't beaten them in a while. Should have beaten them last year at home but alas it wasn't meant to be. So asking for victory isn't asking too much.

Bengals make shift line did a great job not turning a bad pass rushing team into a decent one. Step in the right direction, but now you face the exact opposite. Zach needs some redemption from the Ravens fiasco and deliver a team that can handle the all out rush because that's what they'll see.

Wilson their 3rd round LB seems to make a couple notable plays each game. I still think they’ve got miles to go on defense, but he has shown flashes.
