I just like laughing at the Browns.
Carman ??
Yeah, he’s a fucking dirtbag. No debating that. That girl was underage and he admitted to having sex with her. Maybe, maybe not rape, but fucking dirtbag as hell. If he were no longer be a Bengal, I wouldn’t lose any sleep.Mixon's no saint either.

According to BW, Bengals' have $14.9 mil of cap space, including Bates' tag amount.

IDK, this is a silly rumor, it's gotta be. Can't see how it makes sense for the Bengals' next season.

I don't know, seems a bit over-blown. Uzomah had some moments that I haven't seen Hurst have (yet). I'm glad they got him, if he stays healthy he's likely an upgrade in the end, so no matter.

Sort of non-camp related but a decent breakdown on Hurst when he was still with the Ravens, before the Falcons traded for him. (so Hurst ultimately comes back to the Bengals' for Sanu)
Seems like more of an athletic upgrade to Sample IMO, quick but not fast like Ozumah, but may be a better blocker than Ozumah, and a better red zone target at least. I just don't see the big play ability Ozumah provided, in Hurst though.

IDk, I like Thomas, Irwin and Taylor as #4-#6 types on any team really. Morgan I'm not as impressed with, but know he's a good ST'er.
They'll have to find a Boyd replacement as I can't see them paying for all 3 into the future, who knows, but I will really miss that dude if he leaves after next season. Injuries will happen to one of the top 3 most likely at some point (last year seemed like anamoly of good fortune in that regard across the board) but when you have Burrow, he can make all those guys better than they are I think. I'm much more concerned with LB and OL depth, even DT if they lose one guy (they need to sign someone there still).
But yeah it'd be a bit wild if Henry Jr. turns out to be anything skill-wise like his father and ends-up playing here somehow. Hope he chooses the Bucks if he gets to that level in HS.

Sucks a bit considering just how much Pratt and Wilson came on over the course of the season, but good luck to him.
Just saw this. No idea who they hired to replace him either, if anybody.

Maybe he's just trying to be diplomatic for the lineman who got him to the SB and are no longer here, which is entirely possible. From what I recall, all of the sacks were of the "bad" variety last year. Final play of the SB could've been a TD and possibly the best SB ending of all-time, but nooooo o-line clown show ruined it!
-
I can't imagine drafting Hill sat well with him either. Hill "should" be a better over-all player, at least at some point. I can't see them paying 2-3 safeties 1st round/top FA money. Bates knows he's out, I'd want to get paid too after my best season and becoming a FA. A one year deal just lowers his long-term value now most likely.

Really hope Ossai stays healthy and is the real deal:
"In the Bengals' first preseason game, Ossai showed why he was a potential steal in the third round, putting up seven pressures and two run stops and a sack of Tom Brady. Ossai would finish the week as PFF's third-highest graded rookie, finishing behind only Patrick Surtain II and Mac Jones."

Optimistic prediction is 11-6. Just a tough schedule. Injuries are always the wildcard(s). Watching the last 5 min's of the first KC game at PBS (damn Burrow/Chase could be a next level Manning/Harrison duo if they stay healthy enough).
Looking forward to not having to rely on 55-60 yard FG's so often, if the o-line comes through.

Meanwhile Mayfield's still looking for a job. What a clown. How does he not have his own thread?

Why Daxton Hill Will Be The STEAL Of This Draft (posted 9 days ago):

So Britt can return punts, and along with Hill, excel at blitzing and run support also. Just seems like a solid pick to me, even after drafting Hill.

3 week old comment says he'll be a steal, fwiw: (says he was misused as an Edge at FL)
-
More of a DT in their plan?
-
G next pick Burrow will pressure them, taunt staff with knee brace.
Britt's HL's are impressive
-
-
Hill it is, he'll contribute right away and provide good depth, good pick.

So, the division just may get more winnable when/if Watson sits out at least a year. Unless they make amends with Mayfield and they torch the Bengals' again.
