  1. Round 1 (31): Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

Wyatt, Booth, Hill, or one of the ILB's I guess.
  2. Round 1 (31): Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

Can't imagine JJ will last, Ravens get Linderbaum, f**k
  3. Round 1 (31): Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

A little curious how/why the Lions didn't draft a QB. Granted the options weren't ideal. Hamilton doesn't look too excited about moving to Baltimore.
  4. 2022 NFL Draft

Maybe best Def player works, need rotational guys/starters at CB, DT, depth at LB, S. Another DE wouldn't hurt if he's an impact type. Just get the best dude.
  5. Offseason Thoughts

Soooo....CB (with 1st pick). CBS imagines S Daxton Hill to Bengals: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2022-nfl-mock-draft-cowboys-land-another-elite-defensive-talent-texans-get-saucy-in-first-round/
  6. Bubble? BUBBLE?

So if the weather gets bad and it floods, they can't use it. Great. No shortage of air pollution down there either outdoors. I say put it all in a bubble with the SuperBowl dough.

Denzel Ward $100 mill, yikes Cleveland.
  8. Urban Meyer Burned to the Ground

Yikes, not that I necessarily believe all of the silly Tebow stuff either, but he DID bring him in, which in and of itself is highly suspicious at this point. To think I used to admire the guy, at least when he was with OSU, but he's nothing but a clown at this point. Going the way of Tommy Tubberville.
  9. Bubble? BUBBLE?

IF they actually build this I will change my forum name. And give me a break Mem, no one's brought this up for months, maybe over a year, so whatever.
  10. General AFC North thread

Gotta remember the Bengals' played the 3rd easiest schedule last year (11 non-playoff teams) and next season is going to be a gauntlet in comparison: https://sports.yahoo.com/bengals-strength-schedule-goes-easy-155916593.html
  11. 2022 General Free Agency Thread

This mock likes Linderbaum at #31 due to lack of need from other teams (allowing him to drop) and the fact it would potentially kill two proverbial birds with one stone, as you could move Karras to his ideal position at LG, if Linderbaum can win the starting nod at C. https://sports.yahoo.com/benals-win-big-2-round-183452105.html I just don't know what they do at CB though, as they definitely need a replacement for Waynes and/or could use some quality depth there, so I'm sure that's not off the table either.

    I wouldn't complain...

So Huber's still unsigned? What's going on there?
  14. O-line Watch 2022

Why I wouldn't rule out o-line in the first 3 rounds. Pencil in Carman, but give him some competition, and his back-up, or develop an OT, given that you have 2 with recent injury histories.
  15. 2022 General Free Agency Thread

That ain't right. No one's gonna want to pay for him, Browns' will be eating some cash I gotta think, at some point. I don't know how they have anything left.
  16. 2022 General Free Agency Thread

Did you meet him in a parking lot? In his car, by chance?
  17. O-line Watch 2022

I'd say they got there in spite of them. It will only take 1 or 2 injuries to the starters (it will probably happen at some point) and you're looking at almost the same line as last season, especially if they try Carman at LG this year and he continues to struggle. They were fortunate last year to win a lot of last-minute games with FG's due to how bad the 0-line was and the fact they couldn't score TD's nearly as often, it cost them a SB., and set a playoff record for sacks given-up. That isn't a long term plan for success. Just one injury last year to Reiff decimated them in terms of how effective they were. That can easily happen again to Collins or Jonah. I don't think the signings prevent them from drafting an OT in particular on day one, it shouldn't any ways, they have to start developoing better depth there. They can't develop or draft mid-round o-line talent, so draft them higher where they don't need as much development. So I'm talking top 3 rounds I guess. Just MO.

https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/lael-collins/9719 Never bothered to look at his PFF before, but a solid 82 grade and 2 sacks allowed, should work. Too many penalties, but, hopefully that improves. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10030160-lael-collins-signs-3-year-bengals-contract-after-cowboys-release
  19. O-line Watch 2022

I'm pumped, praying these guys stay healthy, now to find some better competition at LG, and some better o-line depth in the draft (the part I'm not confident about, so they did what they had to do). I still think they need to draft an OT in the 1st 2 rounds, or a G/C in the first 3.
  20. O-line Watch 2022

Collins' heading out: OT La’el Collins’ visit with the #Bengals has wrapped, sources say. He’s slated to visit at least one more team in the next two days. Cincy is still in play and will remain in communication with the former #Cowboys lineman. https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo/status/1505333050145755136?s=20&t=QTWnOS_ccXbVAghtA_szRw Still no clear reason has leaked for him not signing. I suspect modest offer, but have no idea what he's asking either.

Or Seattle or Carolina, but even those are iffy I think. Mayfield will want to start with no competition. What an odd situation. He pissed-off somebody.
  24. 2022 General Free Agency Thread

Who the helll wants Baker Mayfield btw? I haven't seen anything yet, but where would he even start?
  25. 2022 General Free Agency Thread

They almost have to do something significant in FA at RT. And they need future starters. So yeah, they should do both.
