  8. Who would you rather have now???

Alright, I made the post. I do love Revis, but I had to go with leon. I like the way he goes about his business. He is a hard nose guy that doesn't get wrapped up in jawwing with other players. The talent difference is a slight edge to Revis, but Hall's character and the fact that he is a Bengal now cause me to hold on to him.
  9. OK, now that it has been a couple of years and both CBs are recognized as great young talents. All the hype surrounding the Jets has put an immense spotlight on Revis and have people dubbing him as the best CB in the game. It is hard to argue that considering the types of numbers he held opposing CBs to. My question is....Would Hall do the same in that Jets scheme? Would Revis be better than Hall in our scheme? Is the slight talent difference worth the pride and love that we all share in Leon? Who would you take RIGHT NOW if you were a GM with the chance to make this trade.
  10. Where are they now? Former Bengals

I am kind of confused by the Kenny Irons injury. A lot of players have torn their ACLs only to come back and resume their careers. I mean Willis McGahee had a horrible injury and he came back. Does anyone know why Irons was so bad?
  11. The Secondary

I think the team drafted Brandon Ghee as a safety blanket for JJoe. If he has an injury free year then I could see them resigning him, but it will be less than want Hall gets and I think they resign Hall first. If Joseph doesn't have another great year they will let him go.

Hey guys, I have not been around for quite a while. Mainly because I lost my password and was to lazy to reset it...lol But the other reason is because I have been doing a great deal of Sim league football. I am the owner of a team over in a league that is ran from the Buffalo Bills message board. *I have a couple friends that are HUGE Bills fans* Anyways, a sim league is much like a fantasy football league, but the main difference is the fact that you keep your players at the end of the year. You also have to deal with player salaries, rookie drafts, F/A drafts. It is really an amazing league. The reason I am writing this thread is because I am looking to infuse some more Bengals into the league. I am the lone Bengals fan in the league. I am the owner of the team the Bermuda Triangle Apocalypse and am looking for a GM and a head coach. We use the David Koch sim football software. The team I recently took over *The owner had family issues* was in horrible shape. They drafted a lot of veterans in the initial dispersal draft and then made a push for a championship by trading away all their young talent for old time guys like Chad Pennington and Charles Woodsen. I have made a lot of moves to build a strong foundation of talent in Matt Stafford, Felix Jones, Greg Jennings, Zach Miller, Marcus McNeil. All the games are played on the stats from the previous year. Anyways, if you are interested please PM me. I am looking for someone that has been dedicated to this board *A LOT OF POSTS* that can help me out and have a lot of fun. The league is very strong and stable and going into year 4 I believe.
  13. need a new kicker

Just throwing this out there, but OPIE kicked one out of the back of the end zone and caused another (THE FINAL KICK OFF) to be a touchback. I am pretty happy with that. Don't worry though, he will be kicking for Dallas next season
  14. Bengals vs Chargers After Thoughts

3TD's vs a AFC team I figure you would be happy Joe. I didn't spend the whole game watching Leon on Vincent, but the times I saw Leon on him, he was playin very close to him, and he was bumping him PS,I wonder how much Hall not having Crocker hurt too since there was times where it looked like Leon thought he had help but didn't. I think that was BIG, if Crocker was in there, Hall most likely would have played closer to the line, and more physical, instead of playing so far off when covering Vincent Jackson. Jackson has speed, and they just didnt want to let him get deep, for lack of safety help.
  15. Bengals vs Chargers After Thoughts

Carson played a great game. You are tilting at windmills. Think about that fumble recovery on our last drive. That was a hell of a football play. He threw the ball great. He just had a great game, and any player who has a great game is subject to his detractors cherry-picking a few plays from said game and claiming those plays illustrate some imagined deficiency. Your point about the play clock is just such a claim. Three delay of games in a row is unheard of and rediculous, but you have no idea HOW LOUD that stadium was. I couldn't hear myself talk
