i swear there was a tony mcgee in the late 80's early 90's that played te for us...thats why i brought him up. bit i liked holman too..

There was ...he was drafted out of Michigan in 1993.
He was released in 2002...he went to the Cowboy for awhile
then he tried to play for the Bucs and Giants but was cut....
His last season was in 2003 for the Cowboys where
he played in 1 game and had 0 stats.

Dan Ross was the best Bengals' TE IMO - closely followed by Trumpy and Holman (and Trumpy was very good).

I think Dan Ross was the best TE in Bengal history and thats not taking away from Trumpy.... Seem to remember that Ross was a good blocker and I cant recall if Trumpy was or not.. Trump was lean....Either of them would make a good choice.
